Art Gallery at the Heider Center

The Marie W. Heider Center for the Arts in West Salem, Wisconsin includes a large gallery space which is the focal point and entrance area of the theatre. The gallery features local and regional artists from September through May. A large area of wall space for hanging framed art and three large glass display cases for sculpture and 3 dimensional art are enhanced by movable, dimmable track lighting. Many area and local artists have shown their work in the gallery.

Shows are featured for one and a half months. The Gallery Committee is available to assist with hang/take down and help with a reception if necessary.

Art Gallery Spaces

Our Art Gallery offers both glass showcases and wall space for artists to use. The three lockable glass showcases have adjustable glass shelving. Each glass showcase case measures: 5 feet 7 inches in length, 3 feet 8 inches high, and 1 feet 3 inches deep. In addition to the showcases, our two large wall spaces give artists plenty of room to display their art. Wall 1 is 17 feet long and 4 feet high, and Wall 2 is 39 feet long and 4 feet high.

Fantastic venue. Excellent acoustics, not a bad seat in the house. I love that my kids and my community have such an amazing and important place to express / witness creativity. – Scott U.
