Record Mandalas – Please Note: New Location
Mandalas are a geometric configuration of symbols. In various traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and creating a calming guidance tool for meditation and relaxation. You can find Mandalas in many religions including Christianity and Buddhism in their textiles and stained-glass windows. Participants will receive a record as their “canvas” which they will then take home with them. In class they will have access to stencils, paint pens, and all the other supplies needed for their project.

Homestead Storage Basket
A great rectangular basket using an antique spool for side handles. The approximate size is 8″W X 12″L X 9″H. You will have some color choices and be using various weaving techniques.
Please bring with you an old towel, clothespins, and a needle nosed pliers.

Watercolor Wisconsin Barn
We will paint a Wisconsin Barn in fall using a looser style for the background and a detailed style for the barns. Step by step instruction will be provided. Paints and brushes will be provided.
Please bring 2 containers for water, an old towel, pencil, and a roll of ¾” masking tape.

Gift Tags and More!
Are you in need of gift tags and gift card holders to get you through your holiday gift giving? If so, this is the class for you. We will make a variety of holiday gift tags for your gift bags and boxes and gift card holders for your gift card giving. All supplies will be provided for you to go home with tags and card holders to last you through the holiday season.

Mini Book – Art Sampler – Please Note: New Location
Participants will create a simple mini book with basic stitching. They will then use a variety of materials to begin to decorate the pages such as carved stamps, zen doodle, neurographic drawing, watercolor, and more. After the class, participants will have a well-established book as well as their completed carved stamp. All materials needed for this class will be provided.

Holiday Door Hanger
This is a fun weave using a special handle to make your basket. It will be a holiday design to add to your collection. The hanger measures 6″ X 13″.

Basic Embroidery – Please Note: New Location
Participants will learn basic embroidery skills in a group setting while working on a piece to keep. Students may choose from a reclaimed button down shirt, a canvas pencil pouch, or a bandana as their embroidery surface. Free stitching OR stick on patterns will both be options. Participants will take home their finished (or in process) piece, a couple of needles, additional embroidery floss, and a book of basic stitches. Participants will also have access to additional floss and needles, as well as additional stick on patterns and embroidery hoops while in class.

Jewel Away Basket
A cutie! This basket starts with a 4 inch wood base and uses beads and yarn as accents!
The basket will be created using lashing with waxed linen. Weaving experience will help.
